![]() ![]() Some stacks may not have a beetle card under them, meaning you can leave some cards on the tableau and still beat the level early by collecting all the beetle cards.You beat levels by collecting all of the golden Scarabaeus sacer (or beetle) cards on them.Levels are not timed but each stage has a unique board layout.Your new score will only replace the old score if you earn a higher score.You can go back and replay previously beat levels to try to earn a higher score on them.This game has 100 levels which are unlocked sequentially.If a card has the word “Double” on it that means there is 2 of the same card on top of each other.Cards with a chain can be broke free by dragging a hammer card into them.Cards on a rope can be broke free by dragging a sword card into them.Remove cards from the tableau which are one higher or lower than the card atop the waste pile & draw another card from the reserves when no other moves remain.If there is a bonus card included in the level it will be dealt face up even if it is not atop a stack.Some levels also includes unique bonus cards, which are described in the section below.This game uses a standard deck of 52 cards, but each board has a unique layout.The level select screen shows which levels you have beat and what score you earned on each.On the right there are 5 buttons to undo moves, pause the game, switch to full screen mode, control game music, and control game sound.The waste pile has a number on the lower right which indicates your chain multiple.The draw pile has a number to its lower left indicating how many cards you have left.You can only go through the draw pile once.In the center are the draw and waste piles.On the left the game shows your current level number, current level score, how many golden beetles you have collected, and how many you need to collect to beat the level.Game controls are along the bottom of the screen.Tap the screen with a finger to select a card to play onto the waste pile, or to select a card from the reserves if you have no plays available on the tableau.Use your mouse left click button to select a card to play onto the waste pile, or to select a card from the reserves if you have no plays available on the tableau.The lower right corner of the welcome screen has buttons for game settings, social media sharing & reading game developer information.The lower left corner of the welcome screen has a language select dropdown.Near the Play button are buttons for how to play Help, High Scores, and More Games.Select the Play button near the center of the welcome screen to start the game.If you have many 6 showing on the playing field and a single 4 and turn up a 5 then in most cases it makes sense to go after removing the card there is many of first so that you have more playable cards subsequently.Remove cards from the tableau that are numerically one above or below the card atop the waste pile. In general it is best to remove the cards which have the most consecutive layers of additional cards under them to open the field as quickly as possible. Wild Cards: Traditional Tripeaks does not have wild cards, but this game has an Eiffel Tower card, which acts as a wild card.Time Limit: The time limit for this game is 2 minutes per level.Layout: Each level in this game has a unique layout rather than the standard triple overlapping pyramid layout.Differences Between Tripeaks & Paris Tripeaks You score 10 bonus points for every second you have remaining when the level is complete. The goal of this game is beat every level as quickly as you can to score the highest point amount possible. You can shuffle through the reserves and add cards from the tableau onto the waste pile whenever they are one above or below the top card on the waste pile. This is a timed 40-level game with a similar play mechanics as traditional Tripeaks solitaire.
